Sanscise is a compact font family for general use. The typeface was initially commissioned by creative agency Mucho as a bespoke typeface for a leading 100-year-old European business law firm. This inspired us to draw a modern, dignified alphabet. Sanscise is a humanist sans serif that looks decidedly contemporary, but with classical roots. Its narrow proportions allow you to fit more words on a line, while the open letterforms guarantee the typeface remains perfectly readable in even the smallest sizes. Sanscise sports flared stroke endings inspired by letters carved in stone. While not actual serifs, they provide a firm footing for the characters. The reader barely notices them when Sanscise is used for body copy. However, they make the typeface shine when set large.
