Oscillation means repeated change from one state to another. Oscila is a typographic system that offers six such states. They come in the form of six typeface families which differ in their type of contrast. All six share the same build, but appear in different typographic dress. The system enables the font user to swing back and forth between the various styles. Oscila goes high and low… And beyond! There are three branches of increasing contrast: Low, Mid, and High. These are complemented by another three that add variations of high contrast: Fine, Inverse, and Central. Each of the six families offers a range of seven weights that goes all the way from Hairline to Black.
